Luke 4: 42-44 to Luke 5: 1-11

Luke 4:42-44

 42 At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them. 43 But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” 44 And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

Luke 5:1-11

Jesus Calls His First Disciples
 1 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,[a]the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. 2 He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. 3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
 5 Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
 6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” 9 For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
   Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” 11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

Psalm 142

Psalm 123

A song of ascents. 1 I lift up my eyes to you,
   to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
   as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the LORD our God,
   till he shows us his mercy.
 3 Have mercy on us, LORD, have mercy on us,
   for we have endured no end of contempt.
4 We have endured no end
   of ridicule from the arrogant,
   of contempt from the proud.

Psalm 42

Psalm 42

BOOK II
Psalms 42–72

Psalm 42[a][b]
    For the director of music. A maskil[c] of the Sons of Korah. 1 As the deer pants for streams of water,
   so my soul pants for you, my God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
   When can I go and meet with God?
3 My tears have been my food
   day and night,
while people say to me all day long,
   “Where is your God?”
4 These things I remember
   as I pour out my soul:
how I used to go to the house of God
   under the protection of the Mighty One[d]
with shouts of joy and praise
   among the festive throng.
 5 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
   Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
   for I will yet praise him,
   my Savior and my God.
 6 My soul is downcast within me;
   therefore I will remember you
from the land of the Jordan,
   the heights of Hermon—from Mount Mizar.
7 Deep calls to deep
   in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
   have swept over me.
 8 By day the LORD directs his love,
   at night his song is with me—
   a prayer to the God of my life.
 9 I say to God my Rock,
   “Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I go about mourning,
   oppressed by the enemy?”
10 My bones suffer mortal agony
   as my foes taunt me,
saying to me all day long,
   “Where is your God?”
 11 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
   Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
   for I will yet praise him,
   my Savior and my God.

Psalm 86

Psalm 86

A prayer of David.1 Hear me, LORD, and answer me,
   for I am poor and needy.

2 Guard my life, for I am faithful to you;
   save your servant who trusts in you.
   You are my God; 3 have mercy on me, Lord,
   for I call to you all day long.

4 Bring joy to your servant, Lord,
   for I put my trust in you.

 5 You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
   abounding in love to all who call to you.

6 Hear my prayer, LORD;
   listen to my cry for mercy.

7 When I am in distress, I call to you,
   because you answer me.

 8 Among the gods there is none like you, Lord;
   no deeds can compare with yours.

9 All the nations you have made
   will come and worship before you, Lord;
   they will bring glory to your name.

10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds;
   you alone are God.

 11 Teach me your way, LORD,
   that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
   that I may fear your name.

12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;
   I will glorify your name forever.

13 For great is your love toward me;
   you have delivered me from the depths,
   from the realm of the dead.

 14 Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God;
   ruthless people are trying to kill me—
   they have no regard for you.

15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
   slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

16 Turn to me and have mercy on me;
   show your strength in behalf of your servant;
save me, because I serve you
   just as my mother did.

17 Give me a sign of your goodness,
   that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,
   for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

Psalm 130

Psalm 130
A song of ascents.
 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
 2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.

 3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins,
   Lord, who could stand?

4 But with you there is forgiveness,
   so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits,
   and in his word I put my hope.

6 I wait for the Lord
   more than watchmen wait for the morning,
   more than watchmen wait for the morning.

 7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD,
   for with the LORD is unfailing love
   and with him is full redemption.

8 He himself will redeem Israel
   from all their sins.

Dear LORD, bless, praise, glory, honor and thank you for the wonderful, super fabulous day.

Had a great Philippine Walk Tour with Guru Caloy Libosada at Luneta Park and lots of very very very very very interesting untold stories in Philippine History. Together with us are also very dynamic group of gentlemen Ryan Sebastian who is very supportive re my travel career. Mr Caloy Llamas the great photographer who gave us a Binondo Food Tour (super salamat po), Kuya Robert Alejandro who is also a travel bug like me and Paolo Abellanosa (Caloy's student). We thought of ourselves as professional bums (except for Paolo) who is dealing with midlife crisis (me, not really). And at the same time, having the fun of full life. The Tour is super highly recommended.

After lunch we bought hopia. Then separated ways. My plan is to go to Carriedo, but got lost, so I took jeep to Divisoria instead and went to 168 Mall.  Still to early for the night appointment, i just walk and spend time to check out what else to see. The BBF Patrick saw me, happily he want to give me a Divisoria Tour. But we are on different schedule, thou he was able to help me get a really good deal for Christmas Light. Was able to go to Carriedo and bought the one i like.

Took the bus going to Festival Mall of the Wednesday Feast Alabang Servants night. It is another blast of blessing from Bro Jonathan Yogawin and super sarap na ulam ni Bro Eric de Guzman

Ended the night full of blessing,healing,miracle and love love love love love

Psalm 16

Psalm 16

miktam[a] of David. 1 Keep me safe, my God,
   for in you I take refuge.
 2 I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord;
   apart from you I have no good thing.”
3 I say of the holy people who are in the land,
   “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
   I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
   or take up their names on my lips.
 5 LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup;
   you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
   surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
   even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
   With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
   my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
   nor will you let your faithful[b] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
   you will fill me with joy in your presence,
   with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Colossians 3: 12-21

Colossians 3:12-21

 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Instructions for Christian Households
 18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
 21 Fathers,[a] do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
