Psalm 86

A prayer of David.¹ Hear me, LORD, and answer me,
   for I am poor and needy.


² Guard my life, for I am faithful to you;
   save your servant who trusts in you.
   You are my God; ³ have mercy on me, Lord,
   for I call to you all day long.


⁴ Bring joy to your servant, Lord,
   for I put my trust in you.

 ⁵ You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
   abounding in love to all who call to you.


⁶ Hear my prayer, LORD;
   listen to my cry for mercy.


⁷ When I am in distress, I call to you,
   because you answer me.

 ⁸ Among the gods there is none like you, Lord;
   no deeds can compare with yours.


⁹ All the nations you have made
   will come and worship before you, Lord;
   they will bring glory to your name.


¹⁰ For you are great and do marvelous deeds;
   you alone are God.

 ¹¹ Teach me your way, LORD,
   that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
   that I may fear your name.


¹² I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;
   I will glorify your name forever.


¹³ For great is your love toward me;
   you have delivered me from the depths,
   from the realm of the dead.

 ¹⁴ Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God;
   ruthless people are trying to kill me—
   they have no regard for you.


¹⁵ But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
   slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. 


¹⁶ Turn to me and have mercy on me;
   show your strength in behalf of your servant;
save me, because I serve you
   just as my mother did.


¹⁷ Give me a sign of your goodness,
   that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,
   for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

Thank you for Bro Jan Silan for being really a cool and smooth worship leader. He reminds me of Bro Jon Escoto and Bro Randy Borromeo, Bro Jan is mix of brilliance, spiritual eloquence and suave. No effort of gimmicks needed, to send your message Lord.

Thank you for the dynamic Bro Jay for putting Love and Faith into action. Encouraging all to join the ministries and caregroups, where one have the bigger opportunity to become closer to GOD, be more spiritual and emotional intelligent. It is our honor to be a faci in a group to lead them to Love and Faith.

Thank you for Koya Mike Intia for thinking about the bible verses to give away as one way to putting Love and Faith into action. Our presence every wed w Christian and Jayce is our act of Love and Faith.

Thank you for Ate Angie and Tita Grace for the ride and coffee. Thank you for Koya Eric for the dinner (nasira ang diet ko).

Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners

 ¹³ Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. ¹⁴ As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.
¹⁵ While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. ¹⁶ When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

 ¹⁷ On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”




REFLECTION


Dear LORD, Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for the gift of spiritual generosity. The PLW reading is the same reading for today. Jesus Christ shared   YOUR love by becoming friends first. The coaching seminar with Bro Jay Yogawin last night help us how to share blessing to others easily. Bottom line is to have a good personal loving relationship to the person we want to bless. 


I have a 2 good coach now, 1 is Tita Lellah Santiago my media ministry head, who inspire me to serve in Feast Alabang with fun and grace. She is very kind and nurturing leader also. Another is Coach Chris Ching of Citadel Underwater Hockey Club who encourage me to stay healthy, inspire me to be a good team player and good leader to bring my best in the water. And out of the water he is really a cool, fun and funny gentleman. 


Got this "Be a Blessing Card" from Light of Jesus, Feast Alabang where we will put 7 friends and family that we want to bless. LORD, please bless the friends I've listed, hopefully and faithfully our loving friendship will bring us together closer to You. 


All I ask in Might Name of JESUS Christ. Amen.

³ You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’

   Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,

   things too wonderful for me to know.

   I will question you,

   and you shall answer me.’

Dear LORD, 

Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for being Mary and Job for the day. Like Mary who said yes to the Angel, I said yes to serve in FEAST PUP First Anniversary as photographer. (got the text 9am and need to be in PUP 3pm)

And like Job, I didn't understand why I said yes, when PUP Sta. Mesa is really really really far from Las Pinas City and with LIFT (Leadership Improvement Formation Training of Feast Alabang) at 7:30 pm in Alabang. When it is toooo hot to leave home 12nn and raining cats and dogs in Manila. What I have in my heart is unexplainable wonderful things will happen. Plus I am an alumni. :D

The celebration is awesome. The loving student servants are powerful and passionate in their service. Mass Celebration is also the Feast of St. Rock (the healer). Which I think healed whatever issues of the mass attendees there. The worship leader Paolo Galia gave a very energetic and inspiring lead. The Campus Feast Builder Jonathan Yogawin's passion for bring Christ to the students, glorified GOD even more. All this happen because of You LORD.

As I see all this things happen, my desire to run a scholarship foundation for PUP students came back. I am not super well of, but GOD provided me with friends who believe in my hearts desire. And happy to also share and make a difference in the lives of the students.
