1 John 3:18-24

1 John 3:18-24

18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

Mark 2: 13-17

Mark 2:13-17

Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners
 13 Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. 14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.
15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

 17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

REFLECTION

Dear LORD, Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for the gift of spiritual generosity. The PLW reading is the same reading for today. Jesus Christ shared   YOUR love by becoming friends first. The coaching seminar with Bro Jay Yogawin last night help us how to share blessing to others easily. Bottom line is to have a good personal loving relationship to the person we want to bless.

I have a 2 good coach now, 1 is Tita Lellah Santiago my media ministry head, who inspire me to serve in Feast Alabang with fun and grace. She is very kind and nurturing leader also. Another is Coach Chris Ching of Citadel Underwater Hockey Club who encourage me to stay healthy, inspire me to be a good team player and good leader to bring my best in the water. And out of the water he is really a cool, fun and funny gentleman.

Got this "Be a Blessing Card" from Light of Jesus, Feast Alabang where we will put 7 friends and family that we want to bless. LORD, please bless the friends I've listed, hopefully and faithfully our loving friendship will bring us together closer to You.

All I ask in Might Name of JESUS Christ. Amen.

John 19: 25 - 27 (Visual Prayer)

John 19:25-27

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

25 Therefore the soldiers did these things.
   But standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He *said to His mother, Woman, behold, your son!”

27 Then He *said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour the disciple took her into his own household.

The Photo tells me.

1. Great sadness from Mary, seeing her Son dying on the cross.

2. Great sadness from Magdalene, seeing her Savior dying on the cross.

3. Great sadness from the disciple, seeing his Teacher dying on the cross.

4. And Jesus dying on the cross, still thinks that Mary will be taken cared of very well by His student. Jesus so caring, so concern, nurturer, so selfless, even the last minutes of his breath still thinks about others.

Dear LORD,

Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thanks for the gift of being a humble nurturer. Pray that I may still think of others concerns ahead of mine, even in time of trials and challenges. For these will make my own suffering very light.

Be a humble nurturer to all my fellow travelersfriendsecotour providers, and Feast Alabang fellow servants.

All I ask in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen

Matthew 2: 13-16 (Visual Prayers)

Matthew 2:13-16

American Standard Version (ASV)

 13 Now when they were departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I tell thee: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
 14 And he arose and took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt;
 15 and was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt did I call my son.
 16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise-men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly learned of the Wise-men.

The Photo tells me
1. God will always protect.
2. Joseph highly, highly appreciate the protection from GOD.
3. Mary (after giving birth!), humble and meek. All patience, obedience, selfless traveled back to Egypt.
4. Calmness and Serenity during the journey in the middle of the night.

Today
I have 2 journeys, 1 meeting the buyers of Responsible Tours and another one is a reunion with church choir of Mary Immaculate Parish. LORD, I know you will always protect me from making wrong decisions. My prayer is to be like Mary, humble and meek, patience, obedient, and selfless. That you will always me my light, my whole life.

All I ask in Mighty Name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Matthew 2:10-12 (Visual Prayer)

Matthew 2:10-12

Today's New International Version (TNIV)

10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

The photo tells me:

1. The 3 kings, in all humility, praised and worship the Child Jesus.

2. The 3 kings, gave their best gifts.

3. Joseph and Mary did not play stage parents knowing their Child is the Son of God.

4. Mary, after the long travel and after giving painful childbirth kept self control, serenity and graciousness, in welcoming the 3kings in the manger.

Value for the day.

1. Stay humble and meek
2. Give the Best to the LORD.
3. Praise and worship
4. Drop the ego.
5. Serene
6. Graceful

LORD, all i ask in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 84 (vocal Prayer)

Psalm 84

New International Version (NIV)

    For the director of music. According to gittith.[b] Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
 1 How lovely is your dwelling place,
   LORD Almighty!
2 My soul yearns, even faints,
   for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my flesh cry out
   for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
   and the swallow a nest for herself,
   where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
   LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
   they are ever praising you.[c]
 5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
   whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
   they make it a place of springs;
   the autumn rains also cover it with pools.[d]
7 They go from strength to strength,
   till each appears before God in Zion.
 8 Hear my prayer, LORD God Almighty;
   listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield,[e] O God;
   look with favor on your anointed one.
 10 Better is one day in your courts
   than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
   than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
   the LORD bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
   from those whose walk is blameless.
 12 LORD Almighty,
   blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Vocal Prayer
Happy are we who trusts in You LORD, because we are don't get tired of living a lovely, blessed and excellent life.

Philippians 1: 27 - 30 (Vocal Prayer)

Philippians 1:27-30

New International Version (NIV)

Life Worthy of the Gospel
 27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit,[a] striving together as one for the faith of the gospel 28 without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. 29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him, 30 since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.

Psalm 90 (prayerful reading)

Psalm 90

BOOK 4

God’s Eternity and Man’s Transitoriness.
    A Prayer of [a]Moses, the man of God. 1 Lord, You have been our [b]dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were born
[c]Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
 3 You turn man back into dust
And say, “Return, O children of men.”
4 For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
[d]Or as a watch in the night.
5 You have [e]swept them away like a flood, they [f]fall asleep;
In the morning they are like grass which [g]sprouts anew.
6 In the morning it flourishes and [h]sprouts anew;
Toward evening it fades and withers away.
 7 For we have been consumed by Your anger
And by Your wrath we have been [i]dismayed.
8 You have placed our iniquities before You,
Our secret sins in the light of Your presence.
9 For all our days have declined in Your fury;
We have finished our years like a [j]sigh.
10 As for the days of our [k]life, [l]they contain seventy years,
Or if due to strength, eighty years,
Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow;
For soon it is gone and we fly away.
11 Who [m]understands the power of Your anger
And Your fury, according to the fear [n]that is due You?
12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may [o]present to You a heart of wisdom.
 13 Do return, O LORD; how long will it be?
And [p]be sorry for Your servants.
14 O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness,
That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad [q]according to the days You have afflicted us,
And the years we have seen [r]evil.
16 Let Your work appear to Your servants
And Your majesty [s]to their children.
17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us;
And [t]confirm for us the work of our hands;
Yes, [u]confirm the work of our hands.

Matthew 8: 5-13

Praise and Thank You LORD for the Gift of Faith and the Gift of Healing

Life Experience

I grew up in a very religious family, mama and papa are very faithful. Me and my neighborhood playmates are also serving Mary Immaculate Parish as Children's Choir, then youth choir, and youth council during the summers giving cathecism in depressed areas around the village. Plus a caregroup from Focolare.

As i grew up, I met different faith. The Born Again in College. And more in my travel adventures around the Philippines. Anglican Protestants in Sagada, hard core Catholics in Batanes, Animists Dumagats and Itas, more Christians in Cordillera Area. Travel buddies who's parents are Buddhist. Travelers who are Atheist and agnosticist. Muslim in Turtle Island Mindanao.

I have wandered freely in mystical traditions that are not Christians and not religious and I have been profoundly influenced by them. It is to my Catholic faith, however, that I keep returning, for she is my spiritual home; and while I am acutely, sometimes embarrassingly, conscious of her limitations and narrowness; I also know that it is she who has formed me and made me what I am today. (Anthony de Mello)

Praise and thank You LORD for the gift of Faith, having awesome time getting to know you more in PLW and loving and serving Feast Alabang Faith heals.

Psalm 84 (prayerful reading)

Psalm 84

Longing for the Temple Worship.
    For the choir director; [a]on the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. 1 How lovely are Your dwelling places,
O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.
3 The bird also has found a house,
And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house!
They are ever praising You.
                         [b]Selah.
 5 How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In [c]whose heart are the highways to Zion!
6 Passing through the valley of [d]Baca they make it a [e]spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength,
[f]Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
 8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob!
                         Selah.

9 Behold our shield, O God,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold [g]from those who walk[h]uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts,
How blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Psalm 103 Prayer

Psalm 103

Of David. 1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
   all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
   and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
   and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
   and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
   so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
 6 The LORD works righteousness
   and justice for all the oppressed.
 7 He made known his ways to Moses,
   his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
   slow to anger, abounding in love.

9 He will not always accuse,
   nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
   or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
   so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
   so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
 13 As a father has compassion on his children,
   so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
   he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
   they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
   and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
   the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
   and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
   and remember to obey his precepts.
 19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
   and his kingdom rules over all.
 20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
   you mighty ones who do his bidding,
   who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
   you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
   everywhere in his dominion.
   Praise the LORD, my soul.

John 15: 1 - 17 Reflection

 12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

Dear Father,

Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for the very exciting way You want to grow in this word. I took it literally, that is why I am in the 2nd batch of PNRC Emergency Rescue Team (mileswims, water martial arts for water rescue, mountain search and rescue, rappelling, ambulance emergency services). As You nurture me spiritually, I realize that it is putting others need first before my need. The exciting experiences, the love, the achievement, the fun, the passion to serve, is all worth it, because unconsciously, I was giving the needs of my teammates first.

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

So TRUE. I use to join the Bible Adventure with the other Christian Community and I miss that. When I attended The Art of Being a Woman, I realized that soooo many verses that i still do not know, and want to know more. I will go back to those notes after this PLC. This is a great preparation for me, as I wait for You to send my CCOTL, and I wish for a CCHML.

16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so thatwhatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another.

So True, You touched my FAMMily Head Mirella Santiago to send me as Media Min Representative in Wednesday Feast. And you touched Marie to invite me to join the online marketing, to teach me how to serve you better. And you touched Bro Aristotle and Bro Miket, to bear more fruit in serving Feast Alabang

Father GOD ask and pray for CCOTL for a CCHML asap, all I ask in the name of Jesus Your son. AMEN

Isaiah 60: 1 - 22 Reflection

But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light,
For you will have the LORD for an everlasting light,

Dear Lord,

 Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for Shining Your Light in my life.

Your light shines so much to my parents in my childhood days. Mama and I always bake cakes, do the garden, curl each others hair, sew dresses, travel together and watch scripted wrestlings in the TV. Papa and I will do advance math for fun and build miniture fighter jet aircraft. So much love you gave my parents, so much love they gave me, and so much love I can give away.

Your light shines so much in all my travels. The friends and tourists I travel with shines with so much enthusiasm and excitement. the travel providers shines so much with hospitality and good service. And the local community where we immerse our selves have natural tender loving cares even though they are economically challenged. These community I passionately want to help, supporting their additional livelihood thru Responsible Tourism at Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc

Last night, You pruned me to stop being Martha in Wednesdays and Sundays Feast, and enjoy every moment of being Mary. The miracle, I naturally gained 4 new friends effortlessly. I shine your light more LORD, being Mary during Feast and being Martha online ;D

Dear LORD, thank You for shining Your Light so much to Bro Arun, Bro Jay and all the Feast Alabang. Thank you for making us the shining servants you want us to be.
