Psalm 84 (vocal Prayer)

Psalm 84

New International Version (NIV)

    For the director of music. According to gittith.[b] Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
 1 How lovely is your dwelling place,
   LORD Almighty!
2 My soul yearns, even faints,
   for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my flesh cry out
   for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
   and the swallow a nest for herself,
   where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
   LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
   they are ever praising you.[c]
 5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
   whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
   they make it a place of springs;
   the autumn rains also cover it with pools.[d]
7 They go from strength to strength,
   till each appears before God in Zion.
 8 Hear my prayer, LORD God Almighty;
   listen to me, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield,[e] O God;
   look with favor on your anointed one.
 10 Better is one day in your courts
   than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
   than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
   the LORD bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
   from those whose walk is blameless.
 12 LORD Almighty,
   blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Vocal Prayer
Happy are we who trusts in You LORD, because we are don't get tired of living a lovely, blessed and excellent life.

Psalm 90 (prayerful reading)

Psalm 90

BOOK 4

God’s Eternity and Man’s Transitoriness.
    A Prayer of [a]Moses, the man of God. 1 Lord, You have been our [b]dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were born
[c]Or You gave birth to the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
 3 You turn man back into dust
And say, “Return, O children of men.”
4 For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
[d]Or as a watch in the night.
5 You have [e]swept them away like a flood, they [f]fall asleep;
In the morning they are like grass which [g]sprouts anew.
6 In the morning it flourishes and [h]sprouts anew;
Toward evening it fades and withers away.
 7 For we have been consumed by Your anger
And by Your wrath we have been [i]dismayed.
8 You have placed our iniquities before You,
Our secret sins in the light of Your presence.
9 For all our days have declined in Your fury;
We have finished our years like a [j]sigh.
10 As for the days of our [k]life, [l]they contain seventy years,
Or if due to strength, eighty years,
Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow;
For soon it is gone and we fly away.
11 Who [m]understands the power of Your anger
And Your fury, according to the fear [n]that is due You?
12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may [o]present to You a heart of wisdom.
 13 Do return, O LORD; how long will it be?
And [p]be sorry for Your servants.
14 O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness,
That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad [q]according to the days You have afflicted us,
And the years we have seen [r]evil.
16 Let Your work appear to Your servants
And Your majesty [s]to their children.
17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us;
And [t]confirm for us the work of our hands;
Yes, [u]confirm the work of our hands.

Matthew 8: 5-13

Praise and Thank You LORD for the Gift of Faith and the Gift of Healing

Life Experience

I grew up in a very religious family, mama and papa are very faithful. Me and my neighborhood playmates are also serving Mary Immaculate Parish as Children's Choir, then youth choir, and youth council during the summers giving cathecism in depressed areas around the village. Plus a caregroup from Focolare.

As i grew up, I met different faith. The Born Again in College. And more in my travel adventures around the Philippines. Anglican Protestants in Sagada, hard core Catholics in Batanes, Animists Dumagats and Itas, more Christians in Cordillera Area. Travel buddies who's parents are Buddhist. Travelers who are Atheist and agnosticist. Muslim in Turtle Island Mindanao.

I have wandered freely in mystical traditions that are not Christians and not religious and I have been profoundly influenced by them. It is to my Catholic faith, however, that I keep returning, for she is my spiritual home; and while I am acutely, sometimes embarrassingly, conscious of her limitations and narrowness; I also know that it is she who has formed me and made me what I am today. (Anthony de Mello)

Praise and thank You LORD for the gift of Faith, having awesome time getting to know you more in PLW and loving and serving Feast Alabang Faith heals.

Psalm 84 (prayerful reading)

Psalm 84

Longing for the Temple Worship.
    For the choir director; [a]on the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. 1 How lovely are Your dwelling places,
O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.
3 The bird also has found a house,
And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house!
They are ever praising You.
                         [b]Selah.
 5 How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In [c]whose heart are the highways to Zion!
6 Passing through the valley of [d]Baca they make it a [e]spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength,
[f]Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
 8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob!
                         Selah.

9 Behold our shield, O God,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold [g]from those who walk[h]uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts,
How blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Psalm 103 Prayer

Psalm 103

Of David. 1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
   all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
   and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
   and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
   and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
   so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
 6 The LORD works righteousness
   and justice for all the oppressed.
 7 He made known his ways to Moses,
   his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
   slow to anger, abounding in love.

9 He will not always accuse,
   nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
   or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
   so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
   so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
 13 As a father has compassion on his children,
   so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
   he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
   they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
   and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
   the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
   and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
   and remember to obey his precepts.
 19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
   and his kingdom rules over all.
 20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
   you mighty ones who do his bidding,
   who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
   you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
   everywhere in his dominion.
   Praise the LORD, my soul.

Isaiah 60: 1 - 22 Reflection

But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light,
For you will have the LORD for an everlasting light,

Dear Lord,

 Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for Shining Your Light in my life.

Your light shines so much to my parents in my childhood days. Mama and I always bake cakes, do the garden, curl each others hair, sew dresses, travel together and watch scripted wrestlings in the TV. Papa and I will do advance math for fun and build miniture fighter jet aircraft. So much love you gave my parents, so much love they gave me, and so much love I can give away.

Your light shines so much in all my travels. The friends and tourists I travel with shines with so much enthusiasm and excitement. the travel providers shines so much with hospitality and good service. And the local community where we immerse our selves have natural tender loving cares even though they are economically challenged. These community I passionately want to help, supporting their additional livelihood thru Responsible Tourism at Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc

Last night, You pruned me to stop being Martha in Wednesdays and Sundays Feast, and enjoy every moment of being Mary. The miracle, I naturally gained 4 new friends effortlessly. I shine your light more LORD, being Mary during Feast and being Martha online ;D

Dear LORD, thank You for shining Your Light so much to Bro Arun, Bro Jay and all the Feast Alabang. Thank you for making us the shining servants you want us to be.

Matthew 11: 25 - 30 Reflection

Come to me, all you who labor and burdened, I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart. And you will find rest.

Dear Lord,

I super duper love love love mountain climbing, but the heavy backpack is really burdening. Got my complete MSR cookset and butterfly burner (nagyayabang lang), aluminum light party tent, 4litters of water, 1kilo rice, 1cangood, half kilo trail food, clothes, sleeping bag, and ground sheet. Carrying this up hill for a minimum of 3 hrs climb to the campsite (Mt. Makiling) and maximum of 3day (Mt. Apo). Plus the river crossings, dusty and treeless trails, sometimes muddy and masukal with limatic on the trail. Really Really burdening

And You made everything light. Being with super fun friends. passing by super scenic views, watching the sun set while we are awed by your great creation, super sarap camp meals, life sharing during the socials, sleeping under the stars maski may tent naman, waking up in glorious sunrise with a thankful heart that we all did this together. And thankful soul that we share one passion in respecting creation, communities and culture

I super duper love love love serving the Feast Alabang also, and the burdens are getting home late pass my bedtime and servants with their own denying personal issues, so negastar, may Christian way solution naman but will impulsively blame me, so i will stay away. I think it is an minor issue also in other communities, also. Solution, stay with FAMMily (Feast Alabang Media Ministry) where You Lord provided me with happy coservants, happy teammates and growing coregift in Internet Marketing. Also keep growning with iFeast4 Family.

Regarding being humble and meek, my beloved fun climbers super friends knows i need to work on that. They stay loving me because they love me, period. In Feast Alabang, he he he it is sooooooo highly practiced because the burden will be much lighter. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Thank you very much

Violet

Isaiah 43: 1 - 10 Reflection

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
“Do not fear, for I am with you;

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of GOD..

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of GOD with in us . It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Galatians 4: 1 - 7 Reflections

6 Because you are sons and daughters, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”
7 Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son or daughter, and if you are his child, then you are also an heir through God.

Psalm 118:16-21 Reflection

I will not die but live,
   and will proclaim what the LORD has done. (Verse 17)

Dear Lord,

Praise, bless and honor You for keeping me alive.
So many events in my life that you always almost took my life.

One when I was a kid with pulmonary illness. What are you telling my parents?

One when I almost got drowned in a river in Cavite.

One during a rescue mission in Zambales. What are you telling my fellow volunteers?

One during mountain climbing, fell of a cliff and broke a rib, still far from home and civilization.

Once I told You I am ready, really to go. Happy, contented and satisfied. But You did not. (fyi, so suicide situation here). Just really and already happy, contented and satisfied.

Last one when my octopus (spare airhose in my diving gear) Free flowed and clearly seeing my air gauge arrow fast going left side, around 40 feet underwater. You sent Mike to rescue me and share air.

Dear LORD, all the experiences made me strong to start Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc and share all the blessing to the fullest. And all the wisdom, love and spiritual growth from Feast Alabang makes me fully live my life, proclaiming what You have done, doing and will do to me.
