Hebrews 11:1-40 Vocal Prayer

Hebrews 11:1-40

American Standard Version (ASV)

Hebrews 11

 1 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
 2 For therein the elders had witness borne to them.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.

 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he had witness borne to him that he was righteous, God bearing witness in respect of his gifts: and through it he being dead yet speaketh.

 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and he was not found, because God translated him: for he hath had witness borne to him that before his translation he had been well-pleasing unto God:
 6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out unto a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

 9 By faith he became a sojourner in the land of promise, as in a land not his own, dwelling in tents, with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
 10 for he looked for the city which hath the foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

 11 By faith even Sarah herself received power to conceive seed when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised:
 12 wherefore also there sprang of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of heaven in multitude, and as the sand, which is by the sea-shore, innumerable.
 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
 14 For they that say such things make it manifest that they are seeking after a country of their own.
 15 And if indeed they had been mindful of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.
 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he hath prepared for them a city.

 17 By faith Abraham, being tried, offered up Isaac: yea, he that had gladly received the promises was offering up his only begotten son;
 18 even he to whom it was said, In Isaac shall thy seed be called:
 19 accounting that God is able to raise up, even from the dead; from whence he did also in a figure receive him back.

 20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, even concerning things to come.

 21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

 22 By faith Joseph, when his end was nigh, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months by his parents, because they saw he was a goodly child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
 25 choosing rather to share ill treatment with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
 26 accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt: for he looked unto the recompense of reward.

 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

 28 By faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of the blood, that the destroyer of the firstborn should not touch them.

 29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were swallowed up.

 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they had been compassed about for seven days.

 31 By faith Rahab the harlot perished not with them that were disobedient, having received the spies with peace.

 32 And what shall I more say? for the time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah; of David and Samuel and the prophets:
 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, waxed mighty in war, turned to flight armies of aliens.
 35 Women received their dead by a resurrection: and others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
 36 and others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
 37 they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, they were tempted, they were slain with the sword: they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated
 38 (of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves, and the holes of the earth.
 39 And these all, having had witness borne to them through their faith, received not the promise,

 40 God having provided some better thing concerning us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

Vocal Prayer: LORD, your my faith and GOD's Grace all things are possible thru Christ.

Psalm 84 (prayerful reading)

Psalm 84

Longing for the Temple Worship.
    For the choir director; [a]on the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. 1 How lovely are Your dwelling places,
O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.
3 The bird also has found a house,
And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house!
They are ever praising You.
                         [b]Selah.
 5 How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In [c]whose heart are the highways to Zion!
6 Passing through the valley of [d]Baca they make it a [e]spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength,
[f]Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
 8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob!
                         Selah.

9 Behold our shield, O God,
And look upon the face of Your anointed.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD gives grace and glory;
No good thing does He withhold [g]from those who walk[h]uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts,
How blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Psalm 103 Prayer

Psalm 103

Of David. 1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
   all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
   and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
   and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
   and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
   so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
 6 The LORD works righteousness
   and justice for all the oppressed.
 7 He made known his ways to Moses,
   his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
   slow to anger, abounding in love.

9 He will not always accuse,
   nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
   or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
   so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
   so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
 13 As a father has compassion on his children,
   so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
   he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
   they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
   and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
   the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
   and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
   and remember to obey his precepts.
 19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
   and his kingdom rules over all.
 20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
   you mighty ones who do his bidding,
   who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
   you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
   everywhere in his dominion.
   Praise the LORD, my soul.

John 15: 1 - 17 Reflection

 12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

Dear Father,

Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for the very exciting way You want to grow in this word. I took it literally, that is why I am in the 2nd batch of PNRC Emergency Rescue Team (mileswims, water martial arts for water rescue, mountain search and rescue, rappelling, ambulance emergency services). As You nurture me spiritually, I realize that it is putting others need first before my need. The exciting experiences, the love, the achievement, the fun, the passion to serve, is all worth it, because unconsciously, I was giving the needs of my teammates first.

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

So TRUE. I use to join the Bible Adventure with the other Christian Community and I miss that. When I attended The Art of Being a Woman, I realized that soooo many verses that i still do not know, and want to know more. I will go back to those notes after this PLC. This is a great preparation for me, as I wait for You to send my CCOTL, and I wish for a CCHML.

16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so thatwhatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another.

So True, You touched my FAMMily Head Mirella Santiago to send me as Media Min Representative in Wednesday Feast. And you touched Marie to invite me to join the online marketing, to teach me how to serve you better. And you touched Bro Aristotle and Bro Miket, to bear more fruit in serving Feast Alabang

Father GOD ask and pray for CCOTL for a CCHML asap, all I ask in the name of Jesus Your son. AMEN

Isaiah 60: 1 - 22 Reflection

But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light,
For you will have the LORD for an everlasting light,

Dear Lord,

 Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank You for Shining Your Light in my life.

Your light shines so much to my parents in my childhood days. Mama and I always bake cakes, do the garden, curl each others hair, sew dresses, travel together and watch scripted wrestlings in the TV. Papa and I will do advance math for fun and build miniture fighter jet aircraft. So much love you gave my parents, so much love they gave me, and so much love I can give away.

Your light shines so much in all my travels. The friends and tourists I travel with shines with so much enthusiasm and excitement. the travel providers shines so much with hospitality and good service. And the local community where we immerse our selves have natural tender loving cares even though they are economically challenged. These community I passionately want to help, supporting their additional livelihood thru Responsible Tourism at Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc

Last night, You pruned me to stop being Martha in Wednesdays and Sundays Feast, and enjoy every moment of being Mary. The miracle, I naturally gained 4 new friends effortlessly. I shine your light more LORD, being Mary during Feast and being Martha online ;D

Dear LORD, thank You for shining Your Light so much to Bro Arun, Bro Jay and all the Feast Alabang. Thank you for making us the shining servants you want us to be.

Matthew 11: 25 - 30 Reflection

Come to me, all you who labor and burdened, I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart. And you will find rest.

Dear Lord,

I super duper love love love mountain climbing, but the heavy backpack is really burdening. Got my complete MSR cookset and butterfly burner (nagyayabang lang), aluminum light party tent, 4litters of water, 1kilo rice, 1cangood, half kilo trail food, clothes, sleeping bag, and ground sheet. Carrying this up hill for a minimum of 3 hrs climb to the campsite (Mt. Makiling) and maximum of 3day (Mt. Apo). Plus the river crossings, dusty and treeless trails, sometimes muddy and masukal with limatic on the trail. Really Really burdening

And You made everything light. Being with super fun friends. passing by super scenic views, watching the sun set while we are awed by your great creation, super sarap camp meals, life sharing during the socials, sleeping under the stars maski may tent naman, waking up in glorious sunrise with a thankful heart that we all did this together. And thankful soul that we share one passion in respecting creation, communities and culture

I super duper love love love serving the Feast Alabang also, and the burdens are getting home late pass my bedtime and servants with their own denying personal issues, so negastar, may Christian way solution naman but will impulsively blame me, so i will stay away. I think it is an minor issue also in other communities, also. Solution, stay with FAMMily (Feast Alabang Media Ministry) where You Lord provided me with happy coservants, happy teammates and growing coregift in Internet Marketing. Also keep growning with iFeast4 Family.

Regarding being humble and meek, my beloved fun climbers super friends knows i need to work on that. They stay loving me because they love me, period. In Feast Alabang, he he he it is sooooooo highly practiced because the burden will be much lighter. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Thank you very much

Violet

Romans 8: 28 - 39 Reflection

28 And we know that [a]God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Dear Lord

Bless, Praise, Glory, Honor and Thank you for all the happy family and friends who love You, that I am worked, working and will be working, for calling us according to Your purpose.

Now happy serving with Wednesday Feast and FAMMily, where all things are working greatly, because we love you LORD and each other, we are called according to Your Purpose.

Isaiah 43: 1 - 10 Reflection

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
“Do not fear, for I am with you;

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of GOD..

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of GOD with in us . It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Galatians 4: 1 - 7 Reflections

6 Because you are sons and daughters, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”
7 Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son or daughter, and if you are his child, then you are also an heir through God.

Psalm 118:16-21 Reflection

I will not die but live,
   and will proclaim what the LORD has done. (Verse 17)

Dear Lord,

Praise, bless and honor You for keeping me alive.
So many events in my life that you always almost took my life.

One when I was a kid with pulmonary illness. What are you telling my parents?

One when I almost got drowned in a river in Cavite.

One during a rescue mission in Zambales. What are you telling my fellow volunteers?

One during mountain climbing, fell of a cliff and broke a rib, still far from home and civilization.

Once I told You I am ready, really to go. Happy, contented and satisfied. But You did not. (fyi, so suicide situation here). Just really and already happy, contented and satisfied.

Last one when my octopus (spare airhose in my diving gear) Free flowed and clearly seeing my air gauge arrow fast going left side, around 40 feet underwater. You sent Mike to rescue me and share air.

Dear LORD, all the experiences made me strong to start Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc and share all the blessing to the fullest. And all the wisdom, love and spiritual growth from Feast Alabang makes me fully live my life, proclaiming what You have done, doing and will do to me.

Hosea 2: 16 - 25 Reflection

So I will allure her, I will lead her into the dessert
and speak to her heart (verse 16)

Free Advance Open Water Course, I was indeed allured. Free accommodation. Free Meals, Free PADI Card, Free First Aid Training, all I have to pay is my plane tickets and fare to Ampo, Burgos, South Leyte. 1 week AOW, 1 week Science week, which by the way i excel in coral identification, but failed in algae identification 4 times!!! In tagalog, pangalanan ang ibat ibang lumot. he he he he. I did enjoy fish ID and inverts. Two dives per day, 3 on Saturdays w night dive. Did I mention that I am the only Filipina on site, kaya ang ganda ganda ko. And most of the people in the community are from England.

Then You lead me into the dessert after 5weeks of pleasurely diving, my scholarship and service is finished. A deep depression hit me big time. It is like a sudden withdrawal syndrome of not diving daily. Missing the air from the dive tanks so badly. Totally dessert of nothingness for two weeks. I had a really bad trauma before, physical and emotional, but this depression is a massive brainlessness.

And you speak to my heart to keep all the great memories, good happy family, the science officer, the expedition leaders. To look forward to more alluring activities in Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc and Feast Alabang

where

From there You gave me the vineyards I had, and the valley of Anchor as a door of Hope. (verse 17)

Joshua 1: 1 - 19 Reflection

Be Firm and Steadfast, was mentioned 3 times

Dear Lord,

I love continuing educations, love conferences, congress, events that has something to do with Environment Education, Conservation, Responsible Tourism, Christianity and Spirituality. Invitation for Marriage Encounters and Seminars comes regularly also, but I am still single. he he he he he.

My heart's desire is to enroll in MA for Ecotourism in New Zealand or enroll Theological Studies in Tagaytay. And to also have a great career as Christ centered loving and caring happy wife and mother.

Of course you know the best for me, attending and serving in Light of Jesus Family - Feast Alabang is my spiritual continuing education specially hearing the dynamic and animated duo Bro Arun and Bro Jay. And spending quality time with happy servants as my training ground on how to become a happy wife and mother.

At may bonus pa, You introduced me to Prayer and Life Workshop, a 14 weeks program, which is good for 1semester.

14 Sunday is very challenging to me because most of the company outings and Corporate Social Responsibilities that Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc organizes happens on weekends.

3 Times I will also mention

I will be firm and steadfast in finishing the workshop, because You provided me with loving and every reliable coshepherds who will lead the companies,  out of towns trips.

I will be firm and steadfast in serving Feast Alabang.

I will be firm in steadfast in loving You, knowing You, and serving You, thru my loving family, friends and travel buddies/clients.

To You LORD be the Glory

Isaiah 41: 8-20 Reflection

Reflection on Verse 8:

"Fear not, I am with you, be not dismayed;  I am your God.
I will strengthen you, and help you ,
and uphold you with my right hand of justice"

Above verse is one of the reason why i am soooooo adventurous. I love climbing mountains, river crossings, did miles swimming, scuba diving, water rafting, fire dancing, adventure cooking and more

My first time in Batanes more than 30 travellers joined me, who are equally trustful, knowing it is my first time. My first Coron/El Nido and Puerto Princesa combo trip, we are 12. My first time in South East Asia (Kota Kinabalu, Brunei, Bangkok, Cambodia, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Indonesia in 15 days) more than 15 participants again trusted me and join in the trip. So many first time that GOD did strengthen me, and help me to do better and do things excellently.

When I was assign to head the SNS Team, I know I cannot say no to the Lord. And when I was ask to represent in iFeast4, I'm hesitant, but Tita Lella's encouraging wisdom is very convincing. GOD did strengthen me thru Kuya Mike, Kathy, Diana, JC, Jhace, Aristotel and Jen and the rest of FAMMily (Feast Alabang Media Ministry). GOD did capacitate me more after the online marketing training. And to reinforce everything, GOD made Feast Builder Jonathan Yogawin, the kind of preacher GOD want him to become.
